PURPOSE: To prevent production of a change in torque during acceleration, by a method wherein, when an accel pedal and a throttle are intercoupled through an accel wire formed with an outer case and an inner wire, a mechanical play is provided in the outer case or the inner wire.

CONSTITUTION: A direction changing drum 17 is rotatably supported to a cowl top panel 6 through a vibration absorbing rubber 7 and a terminal frame 8. A mouth piece 5 of an outer case 1A on the pedal side, a mouth piece 9 of an outer case 1B on the engine side, and a mouth piece 24 of an outer case 23a on the constant-speedrunning device side are supported to first, second, and third support parts 8a, 8b, and 8d, respectively, of the terminal frame 8. The mouth pieces 5 and 9 are loosely engaged with the first and second support parts 8a and 8b, and plays, having only by distances L1 and L2 determined by brim- shaped stoppers 5a, 5b and 9a, 9b, are provided.
