PURPOSE: To improve working efficiency by storing a storage location of an article as preset data and displaying or printing the storage location when the article is put in storage and taken out of storage.

CONSTITUTION: A RAM6 storing the storage location of the article as the preset data and a function part 12 commanding write of the data to this RAM6 or readout of the data from this RAM6 are provided. Then, a preset area E1 and data totalizing are E2 are maintained in the RAM6 and when a parts code is inputted, its character and figure are displayed on a monitoring part of a display 19. Then, the parts code displayed on the display 19 is inputted to a CPU4 and stored in the area E1 and E2 in the RAM6 as the parts code by the CPU4. Then, the parts code is read out by operating the function part 12 and these data are printed at a printer 9 or can be outputted to an automatic rack 30.
