Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled cosmetic giving durable color and luster to the lip, by adding a specific amount of ethylcellulose and an organic solvent to an oil- wax lipstick composition composed mainly of castor oil.
CONSTITUTION: An oil-wax lipstick composed mainly of castor oil is compounded with (A) 0.1W20wt%, preferably 1W15wt% ethylcellulose having an ethoxy-substitution degree of 2.0W2.6 and (B) 1W30wt% preferably 5W20wt% organic solvent having a boiling point of ≤200°C (e.g. ketones, ethers, alcohols, etc., especially ethyl alcohol).
