Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a no-interruption power source from a normal power source by generating an alarm but continuing the operation when a thyristor cooling fan for an inverter is stopped, and switching to a preliminary unit when the temperature rise of the thyristor reaches the allowable upper limit. CONSTITUTION:A switch 10 which is closed during the operation of a thyristor inverter, a switch 22 which detects the stop of a cooling fan, and the coil of an auxiliary relay 12 are connected in series between power source lines P and N. When the fan becomes defective, the switch 11 is closed, the relay 12 is operated to close its contact 12a, thereby ringing an alarm 15. A contact 13 which is closed when the temperature rise of the thyristor reaches the allowable upper limit and an auxiliary relay 14 are connected in series with each other in parallel with the relay 12. When the temperature rises, the contact 13 is closed, the relay 14 is operated to close its contact 14a, an instructing circuit 16 is driven, and the present power source circuit, not shown, is switched to a preliminary circuit without interruption. In this manner, instantaneous interruption of the power can be avoided to be adapted for a computer.
