Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent lack of deposition and fusion and to improve arc welding efficiency by welding a flat butt weld zone while oscillating a welding rod formed by coating a coating material on plural cores in contact with each other along the axial line around the axial center of the lower core wire of said rod.
CONSTITUTION: A slider B which descends by gravity is attached to a slide bar 7 supported at one end to a leg 6 and a welding rod A is attached to a holder 8 provided to said slider B. The slider B turns the holder 8 around the axial center of the lower core 3' of the rod A via an overload absorbing mechanism 11 by means of an eccentric cam interlocked to the shaft of a motor 9.
