PURPOSE: To form an original placing table which is excellent in utilizing efficiency of light in case when an original image is projected, and is capable of obtaining a bright projection image, by superposing a bead sheet formed by arraying fine transparent spherical bodies closely in a single layer, and a Fresnel lens plate, and forming them as one body.
CONSTITUTION: A bead sheet 9 formed by arraying closely in a single layer fine transparent spherical bodies 8 protected by a transparent upper cover 10 and a lower cover 11, and a Fresnel lens plate 7 are superposed and are formed as one body, by which a reflection type overhead projecting original placing table 2 is constituted. In this way, a luminous flux irradiated from light source 5 is curved by a mirror 4, proceeds to the original placing table 2, is made incident to the Fresenel lens plate 7, advances in almost parallel to its optical axis 13, is made incident to the transparent spherical body 8, is converged to a focus P of the spherical body 8, and illuminates efficiently an original 6. Subsequently, this illuminating light is reflected, is returned in reverse to the incident optical path, and is projected to a screen of the outside by a projection lens 3.
