PURPOSE: To obtain a building board with profundity feeling and calmness, by forming deep grooves in a waterproof base plate having a rugged pattern, and then applying base paint, adhesive paint, sanding and clear paint onto it.

CONSTITUTION: Deep grooves 7 are formed in a waterproof base plate 1 having a fine rugged pattern a, base paint 2 is applied to the surface of the base plate 1, adhesive paint 3 having nearly the same color as that of the base paint 2 is applied thereon, the adhesive paint 3 is sanded, and then clear paint 6 is applied thereon. Accordingly, profundity feeling and calmness can be provided to the base plate, and the building plate with profoundness is obtained.
