PURPOSE: To set easily a trunk code, by constituting a setting section which sets a trunk code to which a calling telephone set belongs, and reads out a coordinate data corresponding to the trunk code of the calling party, of four digital switches.
CONSTITUTION: A central processor 7 receives an input from an operating section 2 comprising numerical buttons of 0∼9, outputs the input to a dial signal converting section 4 via a data bus 10 and displays a calling telephone number to a display section 1. Then, a response signal of a called party is monitored via a signal detecting section 5 and when a signal exists, a display lamp 3 during a call lights. Further, a data corresponding to an area code set with a set section 8 provided with the four digital switches and a data corresponding to the calling area code are read out from a coordinate table 14, and discriminates whether the calling address exists the intraarea or in the adjacent area, and a charge per unit call time is read out from a charge table 16 and displayed on a display section 1. Further, after the end of the call is detected via a detecting section, the lamp 3 is turned off.
