PURPOSE: To enable to absorb shock reaction at the time of release of lock after fusion welding, by a method wherein a movable end of a toggle spring is hung on a pin of a locking gear interlocking with an operation lever and providing further a brake making a friction plate contact elastically with the locking gear.
CONSTITUTION: An operation lever 9 bringing one of vises grasping both resin pipes close to the other vise is supported by hanging a movable end of a toggle spring 37 on a pin 36 of a locking gear 32 interlocking with the operation lever 9 which is placed on one side of a vertical line passing through the center of the operation lever 9 at the original position and displaced on the other side at the time of approach, and received control action of rotation by making a friction plate 34 contact elastically with the locking gear 32 further. When locking, therefore, is released by dividing a solenoid after a reisn pipe has been welded through pressure and fusion, peeling directly after fusion welding can be prevented as a false motion returning the operation lever 9 to the original position through shock reaction of the release of the locking is controlled and the shock reaction is absorbed by the spring 37 and a brake 35.
