Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of connection lines between processors and to make the entire device small in size, by using the relation of ripple carry and the transfer direction other than the carry, in processing the data over a plurality of processors. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of processors 1 are arranged to row and column directions and the adjacent processors 1 are connected with a connection line 3 for adjacnt processors transferring data only other than the ripple carry and with a connection line 3 for adjacent processors transferring only the ripple carry. Connection line switching circuits 6 and 6' are connected to the output side of row and column direction of a plurality of processors 1 to constitute a device constituted unit 4. A plurality of constituted units 4 are connected with connection lines 5 and 5' in common use transferring the ripple carry and other data selectively. The number of connection lines between the processors 1 is decreased and the IC package, substrate and the entire device can be made small in size.
