PURPOSE: To attain ease of carrying by providing a means which connects a finder housing of a video camera freely turnably in almost vertical plane to an optical axis of a photographing lens and positions the housing to two positions for decreasing the package volume.

CONSTITUTION: The shortest distance l1 from a turning center 7a connecting a finder 7 and a camera main body 6 to a barrel outer circumference section 5a of a photographing lens system 5 is made longer than a distance l2 from the turning center 7a to an opposite side of an eye piece section 7b of the finder 7, and the finder section is turned by 90° around the center 7a and the thickness is made thinner than the thickness of the camera main body. In the turning section, a turning base 10 is provided between a main chassis 10 of the camera main body and a finder outer case 11, a click ball smaller than a click ball hole 11b and larger than the thickness of the outer case 11 is inserted to the hole 11b so as to give feeling of click together with position setting holes 9a, 9b. Leads are connected via lead holes 10a, 9c.
