PURPOSE: To obtain the title bulky sprinkly colored yarn having high qualities and excellently silk wool tone which have never existed hitherto by doubling a thick yarn among thin yarns of polyester and a drawn yarn of polyester by a specific method and falsely twisting.
CONSTITUTION: First, a thick-thin yarn Y1 of polyester is fed to a falsely twisting heater 3 of liquid heat transfer medium type, brought into contact with the heater. A passed and drawn yarn Y2 of polyester having 70×10-3 to 150×10-3 double refraction is traveled just above the top of the falsely twisting heater 3 and yarn temperature right after passing just above the top of the falsely twisting heater 3 is 60-100°C. Successively, the yarn Y1 after passing the falsely twisting heater 3 and the yarn Y2 having 60-100°C yarn temperature are doubled by a twisting stopping pin 10, falsely twisted in a number of false twists satisfying the formula I and the formula II [T is number of false twists (T/M: D is fineness (denier)] to give the objective textured yarn. In order to pass the yarn Y2 just above the top of the falsely twisting heater 3, guides 9A and 9B are laid and preferably a yarn traveling path is bent.
