Title:
ELECTRONIC BRAKING CIRCUIT FOR MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5932380
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stop a revolution rapidly after the conduction of the motor is interrupted by absorbing the counter electromotive force of the motor generated when the revolution of the motor is stopped through a transistor and a diode added to a drive circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 4 is changed over to the ground side, the switching transistor 2 is turned OFF while the base of the transistor 5 is brought to ground potential. Since the motor 1 continues to be turned at that time, the counter electromotive force of the motor is applied to the emitter of the transistor 5, and the transistor 5 is turned ON. Accordingly, counter electromotive force is absorbed to ground through the transistor 5, and damps in a short time. That is, the motor 1 is brought to the state in which counter electromotive force is short-circuited substantially, thus preventing revolution due to the inertia of the motor 1.
