Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize a multi-purpose application of a sequence controller with a simple device, by adding functions which are not contained in a sequencer programming console to a programming console unit connected to a sequencer and then using these functions with switching. CONSTITUTION:A CRT unit 10 contains an original function (1) of a programming console of a sequencer 9 which controls the operation of a stacker crane 8 of a machine device such as an automatic warehouse. A monitoring function (2) for monitor, fault display, etc. of the working state of the crane and a function (3) for input/output setting of warehouse and its data display are added to the unit 10. A keyboard 11 contains the keys for additional functions (2) and (3) and a key which switches the functions (1)-(3) in addition to a key exclusive for the original function (1). As a result, it is possible to select and use occasionally each type of functions which have a small frequency of application in addition to the original function. Thus, the cost of equipment is reduced.
