PURPOSE: To accurately check the machining condition of each machine by previously specifying the position on a carrying-out conveyor on which a workpiece discharged from each machine is placed and detecting the machine corresponding to each workpiece according to the position on which a workpiece is placed.
CONSTITUTION: When carrying out several workpieces W of the same shape, of which the same places are machined by exclusive machines 1W5, using one carrying-out conveyor 6, the position I WV on the conveyor on which the workpiece discharged from each machine is placed, is specified. And, when the workpieces on the conveyor 6 reached a workpiece checker 9 positioned on the lower course side of the conveyor from the machines, the machine which machined the workpiece being checked by the workpiece checker 9, is detected by one of the detecting means 11W15 which are in the same number as the machines and which are provided corresponding to the positions at which each workpiece is placed. Thereby the working condition of each of several machines can be accurately checked by a single workpiece checker 9 while the workpieces from each machine can be carried out through a single carrying-out conveyor 6.
