CONSTITUTION: When printing is performed by heating a thermal head 27 and a wire 6 is pulled to a right direction by the rotation of step motor to move a carriage, the wire 6 in the lower run moves to the right direction with the movement of the carriage. At this time, pulley 30 are rotated and this rotation is transmitted to a gear 34 while a ribbon wind-up shaft 31 frictionally engaged with the gear 34 is rotated to a wind-up direction and the ribbon of a ribbon cassette is wound up every when the carriage moves to the right direction for the purpose of printing.
