PURPOSE: To rapidly set time to a desired numerical value, by indicating an arbitrary numerical value of an analogue display part to change the same to time due to digital display.

CONSTITUTION: When the knob of a display rotary switch 13 is pressed, a mode change-over pulse (b) is applied to a mode change-over circuit 15 and the generated time setting code signal (d) selected by the cursor 3a of a first scale 1H through the rotation of the knob is inputted to a comparator 18 to be compared to the output (e) of a counter 19. When said signal (d) is coincided with the output (e), the setting of time is finished by a duodecimal counter 9. The knob is pressed and rotated to display a numerical value for exhibiting min set by a second scale 2M by a display device 1. The knob is further pressed to obtain usual time counting.
