PURPOSE: To obtain the grille, light in wt., having a good productivity and necessitating no rust-proof treatment, by a method wherein a grille main body, provided with lateral and longitudinal holes and frames, is formed integrally by means fo aluminum alloy casting.
CONSTITUTION: The grille main body 1a is cast integrally by aluminum alloy through a die-cast machine. Accordingly, the weight of the grille is reduced to 1/3 of the same of the conventional grille made of iron while the productivity is improved since frames 3, 3a and the holes 2, 2a are formed integrally with the grille main body 1a. Forming of reinforcing ribs 4, provided on the rear surface of the grille main body 1a, is easy, intervals between ribs 4, 4 may be reduced and reinforcing degree may be increased.
