Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable arbitrary regulation of a spring constant, by a method wherein a plurality of accumulators are connected to a hydraulic damper, and such connection is selectively rendered effective or ineffective. CONSTITUTION:A hose 15 extends from the upper end of a piston rod 3, and the interior of the piston rod 3 is communicated with 3 accumulators A1, A2, and A3 through the hose 15. ON-OFF valves V1, V2, and V3 are installed to the accumulators A1, A2, and A3, respectively. Control of the ON-OFF valves enables arbitrary regulation of the spring constant of a whole damper.
