Title:
MAGNETIC BUBBLE MEMORY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS607686
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To set up many terminals by connecting and fixing both magnetic shielding plates applied to the upper and lower surfaces of a memory body only at the corner parts of the memory body and drawing out external connection terminals from three or more sides of the memory body.

CONSTITUTION: A magnetic shielding case 22 consists of a pair of upper and lower magnetic shielding plates 22A, 22B, which have projected chips 22a, 22b at respective four corners. The shielding plates 22A, 22B are applied to the upper and lower surfaces of the memory body 21 and the projected chips 22a, 22b on the four corners are folded and press-contacted, so that the shielding plates 22A, 22B are magnetically connected each other to constitute the magnetic shielding case 22. A ceramic substrate 24 is formed so as to have four projected chips 24aW24d, a bubble memory chip 23 and driving magnetic field generating coils 25, 26 are packaged on the ceramic substrate 24 and the substrate 24 is electrically connected to a terminal 28 through the projected chips 24aW24d. Thus, many terminals can be formed.
