PURPOSE: To make it possible to accurately, rapidly and easily perform the positional adjustment of the titled apparatus, by performing the CRT display of the image from a photographing apparatus by scrolling only the shift amount of the optical axis of an optical system from an input circuit and that of the photographing apparatus on an output video RAM.

CONSTITUTION: When the optical axis (l) of an optical system is shifted from that of a photographing apparatus 18, a character image is stored in an inputting video RAM20 in a state shifted from the center of CRT25 while the p-point thereof is stored in an outputting video RAM in a state shifted from the g-point thereof to display the shifted character image by CRT25. In ths case, when the shift amounts in X.Y directions from an input circuit are inputted, a system controller 21 orders respective scroll amounts and a CRT controller 24 scroller 24 scrolls the outputting video RAM23 to display the character image to the center of CRT 25. When the adjustment of the shift amounts is performed by the input of a ten-key and the like, it can be simply and easily performed. By this method, positional adjustment can be accurately and rapidly performed.
