Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of electrolysis, by placing an anode combined with a beta<+> radioactive isotope and a cathode combined with a beta<-> radioactive isotope in an electrolytic cell. CONSTITUTION:A filter membrane made of a beta<+> radioactive isotope or element is formed around an anode, and a filter membrane made of a beta<-> radioactive isotope or element is formed around a cathode. The resulting electrodes are placed in an electrolytic cell. This electrolytic apparatus improves the efficiency of electrolysis.
