PURPOSE: To provide the titled resin molding having improved wear resistance, etc., by providing a topcoat layer contg. a colloidal silica-contg. organopolysiloxane on an undercoat layer contg. an alkoxysilyl group-contg. vinyl copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: A copolymer of an alkoxysilyl group-contg. acrylic and/or vinyl monomer such as vinyltrimethoxysilane with other monomer (e.g. methyl acrylate) copolymerizable therewith is mixed with a curing catalyst such as zinc naphthenate. The resulting compsn. is applied to a polycarbonate resin substrate and cured to form an undercoat layer. A compsn. contg. a colloidal silica-contg. organopolysiloxane such as glycidoxymethyltrimethoxysilane is then applied to the undercoat layer and cured to form a topcoat layer, thus obtaining the desired coated polycarbonate resin molding.
