Title:
CODE CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6029063
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance efficiency of using memory by adding values of digits read from numeric codes to integer-multiplication of odd number and making them an address of a conversion table.

CONSTITUTION: A numeric code set in an input resistor 1 is pulled out per digit by a selector 2, and impressed in an adder 13 as input on one end. Whenever a counter 11 pulls out one digit, a radix (10) which a radix generator 12 generates in added. This counted value becomes another input of the adder 13, and the value is added to input from the selector 2, which is set in a resistor 14. With this processing, data set in the resistor 14 become binary which expressed successive decimal. A table 10 outputs entry data of the address corresponding to the value of the resistor 14 and set it in a resistor 7. Consequently, the table 10 can successively provide the area corresponding to each digit, thereby using memory effectively.
