Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform precisely neutral locking and to prevent the generation of errors, by fixing a neutral locking plate on the upper surface of a speed change lever guide plate in case of locking at a neutral position, and rotating the neutral locking plate to a place other than the speed change lever guide plate at normal status. CONSTITUTION:The neutral locking plate 3 is constituted by a pivotal supporting hole 6b pivotally supported around the speed change lever guide plate 9 by a pivotal support pin 7, a recessed part 3c holding a main speed change lever 1 on a neutral guide 9a, an engaging projection 3a to fix and hold at the neutral status superposed to the recessed part 3c, and a knob 4. A spacer is fixed on the upper surface of the guide plate 9 and the locking plate 3 is abutted on the spacer, pivotally supported by a pin 7 and excited by a spring. If a projection 3a is inserted into a forward guide groove 9c when the locking plate 3 is rotated to the neutral locking status and superposed to the guide plate 9, the locking plate 3 is excited in the engaging direction by an exciting spring to hold the neutral locking state.
