PURPOSE: To reproduce only recorded information part repeatedly by providing a memory and the like storing the counter value of a counter means, and by storing the start position and the finish position of a recorded information signal.

CONSTITUTION: In a memory control part 12, when a signal indicating that a recording start position is detected is transmitted from a signal detecting part 20, the value of a counter 11 at that time is inputted in a memory 13. Thus, in the memory 13 the counter value of the recording start position is stored. And the value of the counter 11 when the signal indicating that an unrecorded position is detected is transmitted from the detecting part 20 to the control part 12 is inputted to the memory 13. Thus, the counter at the record finishing is stored in the memory 13. And only the section between the counter values of the recording start position and the recording finish position of the recorded information part is reproduced. And, when a deviation is generated between the counter values of the recording start position and the recording finish position and the actual information recording position of a tape, the counter value is corrected. Therefore only the information signal can be always reproduced.
