PURPOSE: To prevent the accumulation of dust on the inner peripheral surface of an exhaust gas introducing pipe by allowing a washing solution to flow down to the exhaust gas introducing pipe connected to an exhaust gas introducing port in a downwardly inclined state as spiral flow in a jet scruber type washing chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A high pressure jet nozzle 2 injecting a washing solution C under high pressure is provided to the surface of the ceiling of the washing chamber 4 of a jet scrubber main body A in a suspended state and an untreated exhaust gas introducing port 3 to which an exhaust gas introducing pipe 14 is connected in a downwardly inclined state is provided to the side surface of the main body A. The untreated exhaust gas sent out of a manufacturing process is guided to the washing chamber 4 through the untreated exhaust gas introducing port 3. At this time, the exhaust gas is reacted with the washing solution C and dust is ready to gradually accumulate on the interior of the exhaust gas introducing pipe 14 or the untreated exhaust gas introducing port 3. However, the washing solution C flows down through the exhaust gas introducing pipe 14 as spiral flow from a washing solution jet pipe 20 to wash the inner surface of the exhaust gas introducing pipe 14 to wash off dust.
