PURPOSE: To perform the printing of given places on a text by a method in which a line designator capable of designating any line on a text stored in a text memory is provided, and on the basis of a printing command, printing is started from the line position designated.
CONSTITUTION: A controller 41 consisting of a micro computer, etc., is connected with a text memory 49 to memorize input data, printers 43 and 47 to print the memorized content, line designators 32a and 32b to designate any line on the text stored in the memory 49, and a line position memory 50 to store the designated line positions. On the basis of the printing command of the text, the printer is controlled so as to start printing from line positions in the memory 50 by means of the controller 41. Printing of given positions on the text can thus be performed.
