PURPOSE: To perform reliable separation and feed of papers, by installing a gate part provided with a delivery roller having a kicking-out part positioned facing the frontmost paper of a group in which papers are aligned, and a gate part provided with a friction surface part and a sliding surface part which are positioned opposite to the roller.

CONSTITUTION: A gate part 2 is installed, in a state to incline downward at a required angle, to the forward end of a papers placing board I whereon papers P are placed in a standing posture with a slight backward inclination, and a motor-driven feed roller 3 having approximately the same axial width as that of the gate part is positioned opposite to the gate part 2. The gate part 2 is formed by a gate part 6 placed in a notched part formed in the central part in the direction of width of an inclining surface part 1A serving as a slippery sliding surface, and a firction member 7 such as rubber is flush-mounted in a portion, crossing at right angles with a diameter line passing through the axis of the feed roller 3, on the upper surface of the gate plate 6. Meanwhile, the delivery roller 3 comrises a kicking-out part 12a in which a friction member 11 such as rubber is flush-embedded in a part of the peripheral surface thereof.
