Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform resin film which has a good arranging property and is free from warpage by arranging and inserting plural pieces of short-sized rod-shaped lenses in parallel via hot melt type adhesives between two sheets of substrates. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of the short-sized rod-shaped optical transmission bodies are arranged between two sheets of the substrates and are joined and pinched therebetween via the hot melt adhesives. The short-sized rod-shaped optical transmission bodies to be used are exemplified by optical fibers and distributed index type rod-shaped lenses, of which the distributed index type rod-shaped lens made of plastics are more particularly preferable. Various substrates, such as glass epoxy FRP plates, carbon fiber reinforced ABS resin plates or AS resin plates, and liquid crystal polyester resin plates, are used as the substrates for pinching the arranged matter of the short-sized rod-shaped optical transmission bodies. V-shaped hollow grooves and U-shaped hollow grooves for improving the parallel arranging property of the rod-shaped optical transmission bodies are preferably previously provided on the inside surfaces of such substrates. The uniform resin film which has the good arranging property and is free from the warpage is obtd. in this way.
