PURPOSE: To add, change, and delete display languages with a simple circuit and an easy work by making it possible to select directly language sentence ROMs with a selecting switch.

CONSTITUTION: Language information from a language selecting switch 61 on an operation panel 60 is not inputted to a main body control part 70 but is inputted directly to a display device 80. The control part 70 sends information of the operation panel 60 or the like to a Japanese sentence ROM82 and an English sentence ROM83 through an interface 81 similarly to a conventional device. The Japanese language is selected by the switch 61, and the ROM82 is selected by the data output of the control part 70. Data of sentence number "1" is inputted to the ROM82 as the first address to designate "PLEASE WAIT", and it is displayed on a display panel 50 by a timing control circuit 45, a sentence generator 44, and a driving part 46. When the ROM83 is selected, "PLEASE WAIT" of the second sentence is displayed similarly.
