PURPOSE: To provide a hair tonic containing an S-containing diester known as an agricultural and horticultural fungicide, as an active component.
CONSTITUTION: The objective hair tonic contains, as an active component, the compound of formula (R1 and R2 are lower alkyl; M is 1W2-valent inorganic or organic salt; n is 2 when M is univalent, and n is 1 when M is bivalent). The amount of the compound in the agent is 0.01W10wt%. The compounding base of the agent is e.g. an alcohol, oil or fat, surface active agent, etc., and the agent may contain other drug components such as resorcinol, hormones, vitamins, amino acids, menthol, perfumery, etc. The above hair tonic is used in the form of tonic, hair lotion, hair cream, milky lotion, shampoo, rinse, etc.
