Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the lubricity of a part near a pinion gear of the differential gear device by a method wherein a groove is formed in a pinion mate shaft and slits are formed in a washer. CONSTITUTION:Side gears 10 and pinions 5 are housed within a deaf case 2 so as to engage each other. The side gears 10 are fixed to drive shafts 9, respectively, and the pinions 5 are loosely fitted on the pinion mate shaft 4. The pinion mate shaft 4 is provided with the groove 4a and the washer 7 arranged between the pinions 5 and the differential case 2 is provided with the slits 7a opening on the side of the pinion mate shaft 4 to thereby improve the lubricity of the differential gear device.
