Abstract:
PURPOSE: To permit to express the density by a method wherein the size of the dot is changed in the wire dot printer.
CONSTITUTION: A printing wire 2 is constituted by incorporating fine wires 9 into thick wires 8 and further incorporating more fine wires 10 thereinto and receiving them by springs 11, 11a. A driving force impacting the printing wire against a recording paper is adjusted to change the size of a dot made by the impact and thereby enabling the expression of the gradation of density.
