Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:Polyalkylene glycol acrylate 3-(1-aziridinyl)propionate of formulaI(-AO- is 2W6C oxyalkylene; n is 1W4).
EXAMPLE: Ethylene glycol acrylate 3-(1-aziridinyl)propionate.
USE: It is useful in the fields of synthetic resin, paint, ink, adhesive, fiber, paper processing or the like.
PREPARATION: The condensation reaction between a compound formula II and another compound of formula III (R is 1W4C alkyl) is conducted at 50W80°C in the presence of a basic catalyst and, preferably a polymerization inhibitor, as R-OH, a by-product is being removed, to give high-purity compound of formulaI in high yield.
