PURPOSE: A mineral feed, containing a vegetable organic compound and a powder of a fossil shell, capable of promoting the metabolism of feed nutriments in the living body and preventing the weakness of bones in the body and acidification of muscles, and useful for growing the body to a physical constitution having strong resistance to diseases.

CONSTITUTION: A fossil shell mainly formed from dead bodies of a crustacean, e.g. a scallop, lobster or crab, a seaweed, e.g. a sea tangle or WAKAME seaweed, by the natural accumulating action, are crushed, sorted, washed with water and pulverized. The sorting is repeated to give 100% edible part and 90% or more nutriments, e.g. calcium, to give a white powder, which is added to a feed consisting of a vegetable organic compound essentially in an amount in the range of about 2W3% for an ungulate domestic animal and in the range of about 0.25W0.30% for chicken raising.
