PURPOSE: To ensure the safety of car driving by detecting whether or not a car is in driving state and inhibiting a television image from being displayed on a screen depending on its driving state detecting signal.
CONSTITUTION: A video signal BIDEO received by a television receiver 1 is fed to a CRT display 2 where a video image output is produced and also a separated sound signal AUDIO is fed to a speaker 3. When it is detected by a monitor device 4 that a car is in the driving state, an L level S signal is given to a controller 5. then the controller 5 interrupts the signal BIDEO so as to inhibit the television image from being displayed on the display 2. When the device 4 detects the stopping state, an H level S signal is outputted to the controller 5, which gives the signal BIDEO to the display 2 thereby displaying the video image.
