Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to record data without increasing the capacity of a memory by storing the running period at least at the time or for the section every time when a road running vehicle runs for a specified distance. CONSTITUTION:When a record starting command 5 is inputted, the preset value in a distance setting part 3 is set in a subtraction counter 2. The distance pulses from a rotation sensor 1 are subtracted from the preset value. When the counted value becomes zero, i.e. when the vehicle runs the preset distance, the coincidence output is received, and the time data of a time measuring part 7 are written into the specified address of a memory 6. At the same time, the subtraction counter 2 is reset in the distance setting part 3. When the counted value becomes zero again, i.e. the vehicle runs by the preset distance, the coincidence output is received, and the time data of the time measuring part 7 are written into the specified addresses of the memory 6. Thereafter, the same writing is performed. Thus, the time for every running of the vehicle for the specified distance is written into the memory 6. As a result, the same number of data which are sufficient for analyzing the state of traffic jam can be always recorded without effect of the degree of the traffic jam.
