Title:
SETTING DEVICE FOR LIGHT EMISSION CONDITION OF DISCHARGE FLASHGUN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60166936
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To carry conveniently a camera and to remove the restriction on installation place of the setting device for light emission condition by incorporating said setting device consisting of the 1st and the 2nd rotating bodies in a coupling part which couples a grip with a flashgun body.

CONSTITUTION: While the discharge flashgun is mounted on a camera, the grip 2 contacts a flank of the camera 8 and the flashgun body 3 provided laterally long is parallel to a bracket 1 and close to the camera side. Consequently, the center of gravity of the camera moves up slantingly, but its extent is small, so the camera is held stably in hand photography and never falls down when carried in a suspended state. Further, the coupling part which couples the grip 2 with the flashgun body 3 is provided with an external cylinder 16 which has an aperture scale and a film speed scale and an upper-stage ring 17 and a lower- stage ring 15 which are stacked one over another in the external cylinder 16 and both rotatable, thereby setting the light emission condition of the discharge flashgun.
