PURPOSE: To transmit a message without any error of reception even during the complication of calling, by storing the message from a base station by a selective calling receiver, and reading it out and outputting visually and auditorily.

CONSTITUTION: A message from a caller SUB is digitized by a base station device BS and stored in a storage device 8, and then a central controller 2 controls a call data transmission controller 9 for an individual selective calling receiver (pager), so that the message is transmitted to the pager REC through a radio system signal device 10. The received message is stored in the storage device 12 on the side of the pager REC. The data stored in the circuit 12 is read out by a visual message circuit 13 and processed into the format of words and a document, etc., to be displayed visually on a display device 14. Further, the data is read out by an auditory message circuit 15 and converted into an analog voice signal to be outputted from a speaker 16 auditorily.
