PURPOSE: To make it possible to continuously toast bread so as to obtain the same toasted color, by allowing one motor timer to perform functions of two kinds of timing apparatuses by opening and closing a selecting switch.

CONSTITUTION: The titled apparatus is equipped with a current supply switch and a heat generator 13 connected to a power source 11, a delay apparatus 14 operated by closing the switch 12, a switching element 15, a timing setting motor timer 16 and a selecting switch 17 of said timer 16. When bread is toasted, the delay apparatus 14 is operated and the operation start of the timer 16 is delayed over a predetermined time to achieve the purpose while, when cooking other than the bread toasting is performed, the switch 12 is closed by the switch 17 and, at the same time, the timer 16 is operated.
