PURPOSE: To simplify a structure and to execute easily an adjusting operation of projection length by forming an electric conductor film on a spiral groove to have a combined function of a guide groove of an engaging projection piece and an electric circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Electric conductor films 11b', 11c' are formed on the two lines of the spiral grooves 11b, 11c formed on the inside circumferential surface of an indicator body 11. When an abrasive writing tool 12 is inserted from the front end port of the indicator body 11, engaging projection pieces 19c, 19d pass slidable the notched long grooves 13b, 13c of a skirt part 13 respectively, and are fitted into the spiral grooves 11b, 11c of the indicator body 11, and also are connected electrically to the electric conductor films 11b', 11c'. As a result, when a knob 13 is operated to rotate, the engaging projection pieces 19c, 19d are driven to rotate along the spiral grooves 11b, 11c, and are moved in the axial direction. On the other hand, a metallic disk 20 and contact terminals 19a, 19b are pressed with each other, and a coordinate position detecting signal of a writing tool tip 12b is sent out to a controller through a cable 14.
