Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shorten the ring arch fact (ring-shaped false image) eliminating processing time, by extracting only data of ring arch fact components after scanning to reduce the load to reverse projection performed thereafter. CONSTITUTION:Gathered data attained during scanning is sent to a high-speed arithmetic unit 23 by a host computer 22 and is subjected to correction and correlation processing and is sent to a reverse projection device 25, and output data is sent to a picture reconstituting memory 26. Simultaneously, corrected profile data is stored in a profile data memory 24. If the processing for the ring-shaped false image is returned, profile data stored in the profile data memory 24 during scanning is read into the high-speed arithmetic unit 23 after scanning, and only ring-shaped false image components are extracted. Only extracted ring-shaped false image components are subjected to reverse projection processing by the reverse projection device 25, and output data is used as picture data or ring-shaped false image components and is subtracted from or added to unprocessed picture reconstituting data attained during scanning, and the result is stored in the memory 26.
