PURPOSE: To simplify the structure so as to make the machine compact and to save energy, by constituting the machine so that a high pressure fluid is used as a driving source of a repeating load.
CONSTITUTION: Water in a reservoir tank 22 is pressurized by a pump 21, heated by a preheater 26, and thereafter supplied to an upper chamber A of a pressure chamber 10 through a pipe 13a. The high pressure water, which is supplied to the upper chamber A of the pressure chamber 10 in this way, is adjusted by controlling a pressure reducing valve 24 by a control device 25, so that the water pressure PA forms a preset fluctuation waveform. A load cell 4 detects a repeating load, which is applied to a test piece by a fluctuating pressure provided by a piston 19. A displacement gage 23 monitors the displacement of the piston 19. The load cell 4 and the displacement gage 23 are connected to the control device 25. In this constitution, the structure is made simple and compact, and energy can be saved.
