Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a proportional relation between the input voltage and the output voltage by outputting a nonlinear sawtooth signal from a sawtooth generator circuit in which coefficients are adjusted in accordance with the input/ output characteristics of a solenoid and the opening/closing speed of a valve. CONSTITUTION:A sawtooth generator circuit 2A, pulse generator circuit 4, and drive circuit 5 are provided, and the coefficients of the circuit 2A are adjusted in consideration of action lags, etc. of an on/off type solenoid 6 and a valve 7. The sawtooth signal from the circuit 2A is input into the circuit 4 and is converted into a rectangular pulse, and its duty factor Md varies in a quadratic curve against the input voltage V[figure (a)]. This pulse signal is further input into a circuit 5 to obtain the average current (i) varying in a quadratic curve against the duty factor Md[figure (b)]. Then, this current (i) is input into the solenoid 6 to drive the valve 7, and the output pressure P of the fluid in proportion to the current (i) is available.
