PURPOSE: To permit smooth control of the ascending limit and the descending limit of a shifting lever and the mounting and demounting positious for the articles to be conveyed, by utilizing the cycloid creation mechanism and the four- node link mechanism as the means of driving the shifting lever of the shifting lever elevating apparatus which is used in a transfer machine etc.
CONSTITUTION: When the piston in a cylinder 2a is driven, a rack 3 moves, and when a pinion 10 and a driving arm 9 are turned, then a planetary gear 13 and a crank shaft 12 turn (revolution) while making rotation on its axis. The roller 15 set in eccentric position for the shaft center of the crank shaft 12 is rotatably supported onto the crank shaft 12, and the roller 15 shifts in the groove 18 of an output shaft 16, associated with the revolution of the crank shaft 12. As the output shaft 16 forms the cycloidal movement with variable speed and acceleration, smooth acceleration and deceleration are obtained when a work is mounted and released from a transfer bar. Further, the crank mechanism is connected to the shaft 21 of the output shaft 16, and smooth acceleration and deceleration can be obtained at the ascending and the descending limit positions.
