Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent irregular wear by positioning a magnet by a positioning member inserted from the opposite side to the slidably contacting surface of a rotor and a mold at the slidably contacting surface side in axial direction and casting, thereby eliminating a hole on the contacting surface. CONSTITUTION:Molten aluminum alloy is flowed to an air gap 13 formed between molds 11 and 12 to cast a rotor. A magnet 14 and a balance weight 15 are positioned at the position opposed to the outer periphery of a rotor in an air gap 13 formed between a pair of the molds 11 and 12. The magnet 14 is axially positioned by pins 21, 18, and the weight 15 is axially positioned by a pin 23. A pin hole is not formed on the surface contacted with the surface of the mold 12 of the rotor, and the surface having no hole forms the slidably contacting surface.
