Abstract:

PURPOSE: To exactly connect footing and piles by a method in which a footing formwork is settled in such a way as to surround the heads of piles, PC steel materials are set around the pile heads, concrete is placed into the formwork, and a prestress is introduced into the PC steel materials.

CONSTITUTION: Piles 1 are penetrated into the bottom ground under water, and formwork-receiving piles 2 are penetrated into the outside of the piles 1 group. PC steel materials 4 are water pressure-resistant working boxes 5 are attached to the footing formwork manufactured in a dock, and the formwork 3 is settled and set on the piles 2 in such a way as to surround the heads of the piles 1. The PC steel materials 4 are set around the heads of the piles 1. Underwater concrete 6 is placed into the formwork 3. The PC steel materials 4 are tensely fixed by using intermediate movable anchors in the space of the working boxes 5 to introduce prestress into the materials 4, and the footing and the heads of the piles 1 are exactly fixed.
