Title:
MANUFACTURE OF MAGNETOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6037183
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To protect the surface of element bodies as magnetism sensitive parts by a method wherein electrodes are formed on the bodies of magnetoelectric conversion elements such as hole elements and magnetic resistance elements while an insulating layer is formed on the surface of the element bodies excluding the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor wafer is formed on a surface made of ferrite and glass etc. while multiple magnetoelectric conversion element bodies are formed by means of etching process. Electrodes 12, 13 with specified pattern are formed and insulating layers 20 are further formed on the surface excluding the electrodes. A preferable insulating material is provided with insulating property, adhesion and stretchability. The semiconductor wafer is formed into grid shape while lead frames 21 are bonded to the electrodes 12, 13 to stick magnetic pieces thereon. The insulating layers 20 may protect magnetism sensitive parts to eliminate the serious defects such as sticking inpurities on the parts or scratching said parts.
