PURPOSE: To prevent vibration generated from a car when it is idled by detecting both the conditions where an automatic transmission gear is being shifted into a drive range and the vehicle is being halted and interrupting operation of an air conditioner according to the detected signals.
CONSTITUTION: If the shift position is in a drive range and a vehicle is put into a stop condition, a shift position detecting means 4 generates a drive range signal 4a. In a discriminating means 10 a switching means 12 is turned on because the discriminating means 10 detects a car speed of zero from the output of a car speed sensor 7 and in such state, an OR circuit 13 generates an output of 1 because at least one of a foot-operated brake and a parking brake is being applied. A NAND circuit 14 exhibits an output of 0. The discriminating means 10 generates an interrupting signal 10a and a control menas 2 then receives it to interrupt an air conditioner 1. Vibration of an engine caused by loading of a compressor may be reduced and vibration of a car's body be also done.
